Glimpse into My Journey
I don't have a linear résumé – but a lively one.
-> Istudied Theatre and Media Studies, Cultural and Social Anthropology, Journalism, Art History, and International Cultural Management.
-> I worked at the University of Vienna, TU Vienna, and the University of the West Indies, collaborated with the women’s collective Sistren in Jamaica, at the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York, and founded the Society for Theatre Ethnology.
-> My research focused on power and cultural structures – particularly postcolonialism and gender studies. I travelled, published, and spoke at international conferences.
-> For over a decade, I ran my own science communication agency – science2public. I developed international formats such as sciencelounge and SciCom, partnered with major projects like FameLab, supported women in research and technology through fForte coaching, conducted workshops at universities and the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), and reviewed research proposals for the Swiss National Science Foundation.
-> Privately, I've also experienced a lot – love, breakups, affairs, marriage, divorce – the full spectrum. Today, I live happily with my 14-year-old daughter in Vienna.
The question “What do I really want?” ultimately led me down a new path.
Despite all the exciting projects, travels, and accomplishments, I eventually realized: I had come far – but not truly arrived. I had learned to be strong. Adaptable. I defined myself by performance – until a quiet emptiness crept in. And so, one day, the pressing question emerged: Who am I when I let go of everything external?
I stood at a crossroads:
Continue as before – and grow increasingly unhappy. Or take a new path.
I chose the latter. I left my old life behind, went back to school at 50, and became a certified psychosocial counselor and systemic coach – later adding supervision and hypno-coaching to my qualifications. Today, my work is rooted in deep personal experience and solid professional expertise.
Now I support people who are ready to meet themselves.
To face their inner and outer “gremlins.” With courage. With compassion. And sometimes – with a wink.
Maybe this is YOUR moment to meet yourself.
